For Volunteers - News and Events

Hospice volunteers require support and training to feel fully prepared to take on the difficult work they do. At Compassion Care Hospice, our volunteer program is designed to attract and to retain volunteers. Continuing education is required and must be presented by qualified instructors who offer the volunteer further training and knowledge, resulting in a higher level of confidence and professionalism. Orientation for new volunteers, and continuing education courses are offered regularly and without charge.

And, of course, we have events periodically in which we recognize and thank these wonderful people.
